I usually ask people to list their wildest dreams. I ask them to write in no particular order, regardless of the subject, the realism of the dream, or if it has already been achieved or not.
This list is biased. The dreams are the basis of any project, large or small. You’ll never make a success of something you do not dream. For example, you’re not a great athlete and you hate especially individual sports. It is so unlikely that you dream of a golf trip to Arizona. However, your best friend, who is an avid golfer, you are asked to accompany him on a journey and cross the most beautiful courses in Arizona.
By accepting, you would be involved in the dream of your friend. Do you think you would make a success of your trip? Will this be an unforgettable moment for you? Of course not. Ultimately, even your friends might even make an ordinary trip because despite your desire to please him, you would not be in your element in your dream, and it would feel wrong.
At first, he must choose one or more of your own dream list and transfer them into real goals, if you do not want them to remain dreams for a lifetime. I personally know people who for 10, 15, 20 years old dream of starting their own business and I’ll bet my shirt that in 10, 15, 20 years, they still will dream until one day they will say “It will never happen”.
First, they never bothered to put their dreams on paper. They travel from one dream to another. It is however important to remember that all human beings have today was at one time or another dreamed by someone. It all started with a dream.
The Thomas Edisons and Graham Bells have all had a dream one day they hurried to taking action. This distinguishes the great of this world of others. They have gone from dream to action.
Yes dream, but how long? If you leave it too long, it may remain a dream forever.
