Black And Decker CM1936 Cordless Mower

The Black & Decker Cordless Electric Lawn Mower, Model CM1936 has a 5 HP capability with a 19-inch cutting path. The mower comes with a mulching feature and a very useful rear grass catcher.

This cordless lawn mower is very convenient to use. This mower does not operate off of gasoline and never requires any oil. The mower only requires minimal maintenance. The blade should be sharpened every year. The mower is pushed along just like a gasoline one except that the blade is controlled by a lever. When pulled back, the blade immediately achieves full speed. When depressed, the blades shut off instantly. Gasoline mowers just don’t offer this type of control.

Electric lawn mowers are quieter than gasoline mowers. No more pull starting. Electric mowers start by simply pressing a switch or a lever. The mower only requires one hand to adjust the cutting height. The mower includes a safety key which has to be inserted into the mower before it will start. Keep the safety key in a place where small children cannot reach it.

You should never use the mower on wet grass. If used on wet grass, the mower can become clogged. If this happens, unplug the mower and tip it over. Using gloves pull any grass clippings out of the blade well and grass chute.  The B&D CM1936 cordless electric lawn mower comes with a sealed 24-volt battery inside the plastic casing. No need for extension cords with this mower. The battery is relatively light weight and is housed under the engine cover in front of the 2 back wheels.

Black & Decker recommends the mower to be fully charged over-night before you cut the grass again. The fully charged battery operates for 40 to 45 minutes. The discharge chute is not included with the mower but is offered as an optional item.
