When you’re getting married, it’s essential for couples to have a wedding band as it is used to symbolise a commitment to union and love. If you want your extra special somebody to know you love them, give them eternity rings on your anniversary or their birthday as a sign of continuity and the everlasting nature of your feelings for them. To give an eternity band to your partner is to show your eternal love to her but its not only for couples or lovers. You can give this to your child as a graduation present or to your mother and mothers to be.
If you’re planning to purchase your own eternity ring, you have to know the basics. such as the fact that there are two different types. There’s the full eternity ring and there’s the half version. The full eternity ring basically requires more stones in its setting as it requires having the whole circumference of the ring dotted with stones. This is more expensive as you need a lot more gems to complete it. It’s also not a practical choice is you plan to use it everyday because you might damage the stones while you’re doing chores. It’s also quite thick and may get uncomfortable for those not used to wearing such a large piece. Full eternity rings are good for special occasions and gala use only, but if you are planning to use it every day, half eternity rings are the perfect choice. They are cheaper and you wont have to worry about scratching or damaging your stones. A half eternity ring has stones only on one half of its side stone encrusted and the other half plain, meaning you can splurge a little on the stones since you’ll be using fewer.
For a half eternity ring, you usually opt for diamonds but that totally depends on the owner and you should feel free to pick your choice of special gems or birth stones. If you have the opportunity you should collaborate with the jeweler to get one custom made exactly the way you want it rather than buying something off the shelf.
